The news is heavy again. Missile strikes, retaliation, civilians caught in the middle. It’s easy to feel helpless. But prayer is not helplessness. Prayer is resistance against despair, a small act of faith when the world feels anything but faithful.
Here’s a prayer I wrote today—simple, honest, aching for peace. I invite you to pray it with me:
Lord of peace,
in a world shaken by missiles and fear,
still our hearts, shield the innocent,
and turn the hands of those who harm
toward justice and mercy.
Let us be builders of peace,
even when the world breaks.
Amen.
A beautiful prayer.
